A River Runs Through It

As I mentioned in my last blog, these days there is an exhibition around the Jardin du Lexembourg de Paris, it’s organised by the RSF for celebrating its twentieth anniversary and for the freedom of journalist. So she invites twenty photographers ,notably bresilien Salgado and famous french Marc Riboud and Willy Ronis , to offer their masterpieces. By the way some of the pictures are shown a few weeks before in a slide show of IHT.
In my opinion here is the only picture that can make us happy in this exhibition:

今天早上看 《经济学人》有一篇题为‘龙之道’的文章，读起来要比前一阵《国际先驱导报》上的不良教师强奸幼女的消息心理舒服得多。但希望这阵收购风不是个漂亮的肥皂泡。实际上用自己的价格优势加上通过收购而快速营造起来的品牌形象的确是个比较不错的策略，但作为一个没有太多跨文化经营经验的国家的企业应该充分认识到将会出现的问题，事实上一些国际化成功的日本韩国企业在时间和金钱上都付出了相当多的代价才换来今天的‘辉煌’。

另：据说有一期《经济学人》上因为有一篇关于一本毛泽东传记的书《Mao：The Unknown Story》评而被审查撕页才允许在大陆销售，昨天晚上在卢森堡公园外面看的记者无国界的摄影展很好。

An interesting but absurd Argentine movie, something like a play by Samuel Beckett.
Generally speaking this film shows us an intriguing story about two ‘thieves’ who try to ‘help’ an unsuccessful artist,in order to sell the counterfeit of a valuable Wemme stamp they used many intricate techniques for cheating and stealing,just before the ending they succeeded in persuading a start-up to buy it and got the check from the business man, but when they came to bank for changing it in cash, they fortunately felt the bitterness of the famous financial crisis (97 ?)…
Finally an absurd scenario ends the work of Fabián Bielinsky.

Several months after the anti-Japan demonstrations in China, I’ve just read a provoking news in international Herald Tribune, meanwhile it tells me something interesting :

While the Japanese have received the bulk of the criticism for the shrine, they are not, however, the only ones to have manipulated the meaning of Yasukuni and its war criminals. So have the mainland Chinese, the Taiwanese and the Americans, each according to their own interests.

I can’t agree with it any more, propaganda is universal, ubiquitous. We concede that the politicians are fonctionally different from the historians, but please be honest in the critical , polemic problem at least do not distort too much the fact! To MP of Japan , China and everyone concerned.
